Due to that the previous venue (Street Market) have become bankrupt, we had to do a "last minute" change of venue for the Travel Fair to Parken Conference.

The Travel Fair have been held in Stockholm twice (October 2006 and September 2007). It have been a big success with a "broad spectrum" of visitor’s (around 7.000): from young travellers, to families and up to seniors. Last year 52 exhibitors participated and among these were ten countries: India, Dominica, Canada, Nigeria, South Africa, Honduras, El Salvador, Germany, Nicaragua and Guatemala. Stand rental fees 2008       Reserve exhibition stand

New for this year is that early reservation of stand, gives the best price.

Normal stand (around 2 by 2 meters):
2.125 SEK = when booked in September
2.250 SEK = when booked in October 2008

Double Normal stand (around 4 by 2 meters):
4.000 SEK = when booked in September
4.250 SEK = when booked in October 2008

Budget - Just a small table:
1.050 SEK = when booked in September
1.125 SEK = when booked in October 2008

Reserve exhibition stand

Swedish VAT (25%) is included in these prices (according to Swedish and EU legislation, we have to charge Swedish VAT).

Currency:
The stand rental fees are in Swedish Krona (SEK).
1.000 SEK is approximately 107 Euro or 170 USD or 85 Pound Sterling.

Included in the exhibition price

Every stand has access to electricity. The venue have wireless broadband Internet, but the connection is a bit slow (if you have mobile broadband, bring that one to be on the safe side). The table for the normal stand are 180 by 75 centimeters. There is two chairs for each stand.

Benefits of participating

First and foremost, you can promote your country to the visitors at the fair.
But also, your country will be promoted at the travel fair site (in Swedish), with short information and a link to your site.
Also - 4-5 times before the fair - information about every exhibitor will be sent to around 9.000 travelers in Sweden (in our travel newsletter).
Also - your country - will be highlighted (at the top) on the linkpage to tourist boards of the world (click on this link to see example).

The venue has short walking distance to the underground (tunnelbana), suburban train (pendeltåg) and buses. Blue bus number 4 and bus number 74 passes by on Rosenlundsgatan (see stops on the map marked with B). The stop for the suburban train is “Södra Station” and from there around 200 meters to walk. When arriving by underground, there are a couple of options. Either you get off at “Zinkensdamm” or “Mariatorget”. It is also possible to walk from “Medborgarplatsen”, takes approximately ten to twelve minutes.

Further information

The travel fair is organised by one of Sweden’s biggest travels sites (www.jordenrunt.nu). The site have around 2.200 daily visitors.
